The awards show highlighted some of the most creative musical home-grown talent to an audience filled with incredible artists, producers, DJs, well-known personalities and music lovers. The Weeknd and Keith Dean dominated the ceremonies with The Weeknd walking away with three (3) wins, and Keith Dean the proud recipient of multiple awards including Fan Choice Club DJ of the Year!

I-Octane was born Byiome Muir in Sandy Bay, Clarendon Jamaica. Growing up, he was known for having a powerful voice and his ability to write catchy lyrics. I-Octane developed a reputation as a talented singer but never considered performing professionally, as most who come from a similar background and who have endured struggle, Octane’s initial reason was to support his family.

I’ve know these two brothers for 15 years and one consistent trait sticks in my mind – their humility. I have always been treated with respect and recognize that something Scroogie said during our interview, “you’re taken seriously when you treat yourself seriously” and how right was he – for an hour we sat down, undisturbed and got into the life of Little Thunder.
